Shamash


Shamash is a Malaysian melodic metal band.
The word "shamash" (in this context) is a reference to the first candle lit traditionally on the Hanukkah lamp, known as the "servant candle". Rather than lighting the other candles in the same fashion, the shamash is used to light them.
