Back in the day (so like 2014/2015, I guess) I was this cheesy teenager who liked heavy music. At the time I was especially drawn to the "boundary pushing" goregrind/grindcore bands like Vomitorial Corpulence, No Return To My Vomit, Vomitous Discharge, Swinery, Demonic Dismemberment, etc. One of the bands I listened to in passing was Encryptor, the one man grindcore project of Felipe Deiz III, who was/is also behind Sorrowstorm (which originated in the Republic Of Panama, and is currently based in the USA). I wasn't into black metal back then so I didn't get into Sorrowstorm until later on. At that point I had sort of gotten away from death metal and into more progressive metal and black metal. Stylistically, Sorrowstorm is "melodic black metal with progressive elements and some minor post-metal elements", completely with clean vocals.
