Vanguard was a deathcore band that combined Amon Amarth styled melodic death metal with deathcore. They are the only band to ever play this style, as far as I know. The bands name and logo are from a fantasy RPG called "Vanguard: Saga Of Heroes". If anyone is aware of the material that seems go be wrapped around the spear in the image below, please let me know so I can add that to the current logo.
