It is possible that the name "Adiastasia" comes from the Greek word "diástasi", (διάσταση) which means "dimension". Vocalist Jeff Winner has expressed disapproval of the mix on this album (though I can't remember if it was the 2010 version or this one), claiming that the label messed the mix up. A remixed/remastered version of this album was released in 2010 though Bombworks Records, titled "Life War: Collector's Edition". A 2003 demo exists, and is the band's first release. The album could be described as "symphonic power metal combined with gothic doom metal".  I'd say this album is a combination of bands like The Foreshadowing and Pathfinder.
