Garden For Lovers Christian hardcore punk band Officer Negative was pretty much staple for me back in the day. I was obsessed with their song "JCHC" and the "Dead To The World" album in general. Following their 2001 releases, the band changed things up and started playing metalcore, in contrast to the punk style they had played before. They called this project "The Death Campaign", which was technically a project of Officer Negative members, rather than an actual Officer Negative album. The Final Battle One of the first Christian based bands to implement symphonic elements into black metal (of not the first, granted there weren't very many "unblack" bands at the time to begin with), Crimson Moonlight delivers an excellent symphonic black metal ep, with that "dank dark castle" feel, as the album cover suggests!

Death Becomes You The third release by deathcore band Hail The Blessed Hour, following their "pre-release demo" (also titled "Beauty Distorted") which featured alternate artwork, and five tracks from the album. Fear The first demo by Grammy Award nominated Christian rock band, Casting Crowns. This album features two different male vocalists (one being Mark Hall, but I am unsure of the other). The demo differs from the band's later material, as it features a slight (and I mean very slight) punk rock influence. Quite a few of the songs on the demo made it into Casting Crowns albums later on in their career, including the final song "Fear", which became their hit song "Voice Of Truth". The album is very reminiscent of early 2000s metalcore and post-hardcore, as indicated by the song titles (I mean, just WOW). The album is still very much a deathcore album.
